Little Britches Rodeo is the oldest national junior rodeo association in the country. Kids from age 5 through 18 are eligible to participate. There are five divisions for contestants including Little Wranglers (age 5 through 7), Junior Girls, Junior Boys (age 8 through 13), Senior Girls, Senior Boys, (age 13 through 18). We provide a safe place for America's youth to have fun and experience the great sport of rodeo. We have a long history of helping young people grow-up and become successful in their lives, occasionally they are some of the best in the rodeo industry.
Scholarships to help further education are available through a generous sponsorship program. All NLBRA qualified members compete for the awards program.
In addition to learning athletic skills in the arena, Little Britches educates young rodeo athletes on the importance of being in top physical condition and preventative health issues. The NLBRA is a non-profit 501-C-3 organization, devoted to the promotion of junior rodeo and the continued support and encouragement of our nation's youth. The aims and purposes of the organization are directed toward the interests of the western-minded youth of the nation.
Where there is a need for a wholesome youth program, sufficient community interest, and enthusiasm to support it; where there is a non-profit organization or group of people willing to promote and carry it through; then you have the combination necessary to put on a successful Little Britches Rodeo.
