The "Wedge" addes about 1" of length to the back of the finger which is virtually eliminates the need for the glove to stretch while closing. The "Wedge" provides partially closed fingers which is the natural position of a relaxed hand. This provides a better fit, better grip, and less fatigue.
The "Wedge" curves the inside surface of the fingers which means less wrinckles and bunching of material when the hand is closed. The much smoother wear surface significantly improves wear life and the ability to grip.
